GRAHAM RAHAL TO APPEAR ON THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN APRIL 16
LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill (April 10, 2008) --- Graham Rahal, driver of the No. 06 Hole in the Wall Camps race car for Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing will be appearing on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday, April 16. Rahal will make his first appearance on the show to discuss his win in the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Sunday, April 6 which earned him the distinction of becoming the youngest winner in a major open wheel racing series at 19 years and 93 days old. In his IndyCar Series debut, he surpassed the mark previously held by Marco Andretti for his win at Infineon Raceway in 2006 at 19 years and 167 days old. "The Late Show with David Letterman" is televised on CBS.
Rahal's next event will be the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, April 18-20. Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing has won the past three Champ Car events on the streets of Long Beach with former team driver Sebastien Bourdais. Rahal and his new teammate, McDonald's driver Justin Wilson, are looking forward to the opportunity to extend the team's win record there.
